Intervuws uses Claude (by Anthropic) to conduct each interview. The AI is briefed with your project context, topic objectives, and any documents you've provided. It then conducts a natural, structured conversation — asking questions, following up on interesting responses, and keeping the conversation on track. Text and voice modes are both supported.
Credits are consumed when interviews or findings reports are created. A text interview costs 1 credit, a voice interview costs 4 credits, and generating a findings report costs 2 credits. Everything else — project setup, stakeholder management, knowledge building, the AI context chat — is free.
Yes. Every piece of data is scoped to your account — participants' responses are never visible to other users. Intervuws is built with full data isolation across all API endpoints. We use Clerk for authentication and all data is stored on a private Railway volume. We recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy for full details.
Intervuws is designed for use in the UK and EU and is built with GDPR considerations in mind. We provide an AI Disclosure you can customise for each project, and you control how AI involvement is introduced to participants. Partially completed interviews are included in findings analysis — the AI notes them as in-progress and draws on whatever was said. You can also send reminder emails from within the platform. Credits are only consumed when an interview is created, not when it is completed.
